Welcome page

The landing page introduces the app with the Danish headline "Hvad sker der lige her om lidt?" and explains that it helps users find nearby concerts, workshops, sport and pop-ups in the next few hours, starting in Copenhagen.

User flow

  • Users allow location access so the app can show events that are actually nearby.
  • The feed focuses on events starting soon, sorted by distance.
  • Category filters help users quickly narrow the feed to music, culture, sport, community and other local options.
  • The product is designed for spontaneous plans rather than managing a full calendar.

Technical setup

  • Astro powers the lightweight website/app experience.
  • Tailwind CSS handles the responsive visual design.
  • Cloudflare Pages hosts the site for fast loading.
  • Supabase/PostgreSQL stores event data.
  • Calendar feeds from Duk Op are planned or used where possible for Copenhagen event import.
